The reversal !

http://www.esgindia.org/campaigns/lakes/background.html

The lake has been fenced but the little entry remains. Good for the cows. There is a half constructed kalyani- a ganesha immersion pond close to the hebbal flyover circle. The lake still sees a mixed crowd on all days. Bird watchers and senior citizens can get in free in the early morning.
Unless some body wants it all blue, the lake is settling down to its normal ecology. The weeds, rushes birds fishermen and citizens... In all a harmonious mish mash that is so true of any Indian place!
As for my project I am in the final process of getting a paper published( Its all Philosophy). Thanks to the lake and its being and my NIAS classmates Sreeja and Sowjanya in the project. Vasavi and Carol for thier support . To SARAI at Delhi who make a difference. To all those who cared at ESG, hasiru usiru, Shristi international students, Rohan, Sudhira and Vinay.

I speak for the lake and say " Come and visit me in Bangalore. I am a place that changes meaning yours and mine. I am a symbol of the environment and struggles of livelihood, I represent what was, is, could have been and what isnt. I am water, land, vision and a reminder of your city."
